3500 Park Avenue Residences. Bronx

This contemporary, sustainable building creates neighbor-to-neighbor linkages between the residents as well as a wide array of community-based supportive services. The project’s design encourages a sense of rootedness in the building’s community while contributing to the streetscape and conveying a welcoming presence to the wider neighborhood community. Out of a total of one hundred fifteen units, sixty-nine studios are dedicated to formerly homeless individuals with services and rent subsidies. Additionally, forty-six units, including a live-in super, serve low-income seniors and families at or below 60% area median income and are part of HPD’s lottery program.
