Archer Green. Queens

Archer Green is a new 100 percent affordable housing development in downtown Jamaica. The project provides 387 apartments, extensive residential amenities, a community facility, and retail space. The street-level commercial space houses a low-cost grocery store providing high-quality fresh food and produce to the area. The building will achieve LEED Gold status and incorporates extensive green technologies that improve building operations and increase resiliency. These include a state-of-the-art battery energy storage system that can provide backup power in the event of a blackout, solar panels, and a Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system. The high-quality housing and rich amenity spaces will attract and retain families and individuals in Jamaica. The true community model of affordable housing is achieved by the inclusion of people earning 40%, 60%, and 100% AMI.
