ESKW/A at IMPACCT Brooklyn’s Emerald Ball

Last week, Partner Kimberly Murphy had the pleasure of attending IMPACCT Brooklyn’s Emeral Ball—a beautiful celebration of an organization that has been showing up for Brooklyn communities since 1964.

We were proud to partner with @impacctbk and Centrabuild last year on the NYC HPD RFP for Nevins & Third in Boerum Hill. Our proposal envisioned over 65 units of deeply affordable senior housing, designed to Passive House standards with community space, rooftop gardens, and a greenhouse lounge. While our proposal wasn’t selected, our respect and admiration for IMPACCT’s mission only grew through the process. Their commitment to building, restoring, and preserving Brooklyn, and their track record of keeping seniors rooted in the neighborhoods they love is exactly the kind of work we want to support.

It was wonderful to share the evening with fellow affordable housing advocates including Martha Masoero from @bronxprogroup who feel the same way.
